What is New for Old Cover?

New for Old cover means that in the event that your Caravan is stolen and not recovered or damaged beyond economical repair, we will replace your Caravan with the most recent model (or equivalent).

You must insure your Caravan for the value of a new equivalent model and not its current value.

New for Old cover is available for caravans up to 10 years from the date of first registration

Where Do I Find My CRIS Number?

You will normally find this etched on the windows of your Caravan, around the doorframe or on the registration documents.

Will You Post My Policy Documents?
Our policy is an online product and we are not therefore we do not post documents as standard. We are able to arrange documents to be posted to you for a £4.95 admin fee. To request hard copies of your documents, please email customerservices@coffeeinsure.co.uk including the following;
  • Full name
  • Policy number
  • Date of Birth
Alternatively, you can login to your online Ping Account and cancel your policy directly.
Can I cancel my Caravan Insurance and receive a refund?
To start the transfer or cancellation and refund process please email cancellations@coffeeinsure.co.uk including the following;
  • Full name
  • Policy number
  • Cancellation date
  • The reason for cancellation.
Once we receive all of the above information, we will review your policy documents and provide you with a full breakdown of your refund where applicable. You will then be asked to confirm your cancellation request and Please note, starting a cancellation process doesn’t automatically cancel your policy. You can find your rights of cancellation in your policy documents. All policy refunds are subject to cancellation administration fee, this fee will be automatically deducted from any refund owned. Alternatively, you can login to your online Ping Account and cancel your policy directly.
Can I transfer my Caravan Insurance to a new different Caravan?
You can transfer this policy to a new Caravan providing, the Caravan falls into the same risk banding or lower than your current Caravan. To start the transfer please email customerservices@coffeeinsure.co.uk including the following;
  • Full name
  • Policy number
  • Transfer Date
  • Your new Vehicle Registration number
Please note, starting a transfer process doesn’t automatically transfer your policy. All policy transfers are subject to an administration fee. Alternatively, you can login to your online Ping Account and cancel your policy directly.
Where can I find the Claims limit for my policy?
You can find your claim limit detailed on your quote or in your Policy Schedule.
What is the Standard Excess?

The mandatory policy excess is £100. You can choose to increase the £100 excess in return for a discount on your premium.

How can I make a claim?
The quickest and easiest way for you to make a claim is online – All claims are managed the Claims administrator MB&G Insurance. Simply select the type of claim you wish to make, provide the information requested and submit the claim form. Once you have submitted the claim form, sit back and let MB&G do the work. They will let you know about the progress of your claim, and what you need to do next on a regular basis
